IT'S ALWAYS IN YOUR INTEREST
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son... (John 3:16).
One of the greatest truths to understand in your walk with God is that He never asks anything of you for His benefit. Whenever He instructs, guides, corrects or directs you, it's always in your interest. Everything He does is motivated by His love for you and His desire to bring you into the fullness of His greater blessings and purpose for your life.
Consider what He did through Jesus Christ. He gave His Son for us. Jesus laid down His life, bore our sins, and rose triumphantly from the dead to bring us into fellowship with the Father. Yet His love didn't stop there. Having been exalted to the place of supreme authority and glory, He chose to share that inheritance with us. The Bible says we're "...heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ..." (Romans 8:17).
Think about it: The One who possesses all things didn't simply bless us from His abundance; He brought us into joint ownership. This helps us understand God's dealings with us. Never view or relate with His instructions through the lens of loss or sacrifice. Rather, see them as expressions of His love and wisdom.
Trust His Word and the guidance of the Holy Spirit in your life, knowing that He has your highest good at heart. He loves you more than you love yourself. He’s more passionate about your success than you could ever be. The God who gave His Son for you and made you a joint-heir with Christ will never lead you into anything that isn't ultimately in your best interest.
PRAYER: Dear Father, thank you for your immeasurable love and goodness toward me. I trust your wisdom and your guidance, knowing that every instruction you give is motivated by your love and designed for my benefit. My heart is yielded to you, and I walk confidently in your perfect will, with full assurance that your plans for me are excellent and designed for my blessing, in Jesus' Name. Amen.
